Alison Krauss

Alison Krauss has been a country singer for over 30 years. She was born in Decatur, Illinois on the 23rd of July, 1971. LeAnne Kymes is also one of the two youngest Grammy Award recipients. Alison Maria Krauss (born July 23 1971) is an American bluegrass and country musician as well as singer. She began her career in the industry in the early years, having won local competitions at the age of 10 and recording her first album at the age of 14. The year 1987 was when she dropped her solo debut album after joining Rounder Records. The year 1989 saw her asked to be a part of Alison Krauss & Union Station together with whom she performed.
