Angela Sun

Angela Sun (born October 19 1979 in Santa Clara County of California) is an American journalist, presenter on television and sportscaster. Angela Sun is a multi-award award-winning journalist, sportscaster and producer. She graduated from University of California with a degree in sociology and communications. Sun has excellent surfing abilities. She was a participant in numerous professional-am surfing competitions, which allowed her to get sponsorships from brands such as Roxy Reef Billabong Vans. Recognition through these events was like rocket fuel which prompted her to enter the entertainment industry. She, later on went to become an actress sportscaster filmmaker and investigative journalist. Sun has been a reporter on several news outlets, but mostly as an anchor. In 2003 she worked as an anchor for Fox Sports Net. She hosted American Ninja Warrior along with Matt Iseman in 2012. Sun was the host of The Yahoo Sports Minute in the year 2014. Sun is the first Asian American celebrity to appear in the ESPN Fox Sports Yahoo Sports Tennis Channel. Sun has appeared in a variety of movies and received not only praise but also fame for her acting prowess. Sun has appeared in films including Goliath 2016. (Hit the Floor 2014-2016), A Perfect Getaway (2009), Street Kings (2008), Glowsticks and Drumsticks 2004, and Shackled. Sun's feature length documentary Platic Paradise The Great Pacific Garbage Patch was a movie about the negative effects of plastic pollution on the oceans. She created, wrote and directed it herself.
