Amber Benson bio
Amber Benson (born April 14 in 1970) is a famous American actor, performer also a writer, director and actor. She is best known for her part as Tara Maclay on the TV series Buffy the Vampire Slayer and was also the director and appeared in her own movies Chance as well as Lovers Liars & Lunatics. In addition, she was a part of Kiss the Bride. Benson is the daughter, born on January 8th 1977, of Edward and Diane Benson. Danielle Benson, the sister of her is an artist of distinction. Benson's father was Jewish as was her mother was Southern Baptist raised by Southern Baptist parents. Her family was raised going to a Reform congregation in Alabama. Since Buffy was cancelled, Benson was in films such as The Killing Jar and on shows such as Morganville The Series. Additionally, she worked in writing for the Ghosts of Albion Series and directed Drones in the year 2010. Buffy states that, after taking the time to count and locate them she found around 1800 Slayers across the world, including 500 who are connected with The Scooby Gang. Slayers can now be awakened when the potentials reach the right age. Soledad, for example was awakened at her sixteenth. Ruth Connell has been cast as Rowena in Season 10 Supernatural. Apparantly she is a mysterious older-school witch.
