Rauw Alejandro

Raul Alejandro Olasio , also known as Ruiz, was born January 10, 1993. He is also known as Rauw Alejandro. He has been called the "King of Modern Reggaeton".[2][3] He belongs to the "new generation" of Puerto Rican musicians. His first studio album, Afrodisiaco was released in November of 2020. The album that followed, Vice Versa, released in June 2021, featured the lead single "Todo de Ti". From 12 nominations, he has been awarded two Latin Grammy Awards. Raul Alejandro Ocasio Ruiz was born on January 10, 1993, in San Juan, Puerto Rico and was raised in Canovanas and Carolina. [4][5] Alejandro's father, guitarist Raul OcasioRuiz, and his mother Maria Nelly Ruiz (backing vocalist) gave him a wide range of his musical inspirations which included Michael Jackson, Elvis Presley, and Chris Brown. Alejandro and his father stayed for a long time in the United States. They mainly resided in New York City and Miami. [7][8] Alejandro and his fellow Puerto Rican rapper Anuel AA were childhood pals; they each attended the same school and took classes together. [9][10] Alejandro was a gifted dancer as a youngster and was also a contestant in talent shows. After graduating from high school, he began his studies at the University of Puerto Rico. He played soccer from the age of six to 25. He subsequently stopped playing because he couldn't perform the way he thought. In the year 20 He suffered an injury. Then he moved to Orlando to try and be considered by the Premier Development League (PDL). Rauw Alejandro is famous for his Latin R&B, Latin Reggaeton and rhythmic pop. Billboard noted that it's helped "set him apart from a growing class of reggaetoneros who are influenced by pop". Presley and Jackson were influential early on.
